Yes, my throat is terribly sore. We had our first official Unified concert - just for us - tonight at the church, and it was so awesome :). I don't know how, but the Lord helped me through on my jacked vocal chords, and the choir and band were just awesome. I can't even begin to explain how awesome it was - the Holy Spirit truly was in the place.
But I always get so nasty during those things *grin*. Sweat pours off of me and I'm all sticky by the time we're done...I'm always afraid to hug anyone or get to close to them just in case my deoderant fails *grin*.
Anyway, the concert went really well. The Lord never ceases to amaze me with the way He fixes situations around me and in my life. It's strange, but I'm beginning to truly feel like the apple of his eye...as if he truly is smiling down on me. I know the Bible states these things, but there's a difference in reading and experiencing.
Oh well - I just wanted to get on and say just how awesome tonight was. The Lord is good, and I'm thankful and humbled that he allows me to be a part of this :). Hopefully I'll blog more soon!
