Moving On

Why is it so hard to move on from things you want or thought would happen? Sorry, but I'm not in too hyper of a mood in my writing today...it's been a good day and I'm thankful for that. I'm thankful for the things the Lord has placed in my life. I'm thankful for where the Lord has me, because I know it will help me grow - even if I don't like it *sigh*.

But God promised in Romans 8:28-29 - "We know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them. For God knew his people in advance, and he chose them to become like his Son."

I want to stand on that promise but so often I am scared that God loves others more than me. It's the silliest thing, because the Bible tells us He is no respector of persons. That means that all who do what his will is and follow his commandments will get the same results. He loves us all the same - God help me to be strong and to trust your plan for my life even when it doesn't feel like it's good.

I hate the feeling of despair that comes - but God promised me He would never leave me nor forsake me. I will stand on that promise and go through this next storm. I don't have a choice. Might as well get it right and react as Jesus would...any other decision will just be rebellion and get me in even more trouble.

Every day I'm alive, the more I can't wait to meet Jesus and get away from all of this junk here on Earth. Dude, I think I need a nap...
