Troubled Times for a Troubled Person

I think it's fair to say that I'm a bit troubled. Too much on my mind, really. And a lot of it centers on the way I feel - not on facts, not on truth, but on the way I feel about it. It's odd being this kind of creature - the one that seems to be ruled by feelings instead of common sense. On one hand, it can be awesome - because according to personality tests *grin*, and actually by my own experience, I'm right a LOT of the time.

But not always - and that's where the problem comes in. My feelings are not the truth of the situation. My moods can be altered because of lack of sleep, hormonal changes, sickness, my own perceptions, etc. etc. Truth is what I read in the Bible.

But yet I find myself here again, struggling with familiar crap that doesn't make any sense and doesn't bring peace or real soul abiding joy. The world has nothing but junk to offer.

And some really cool music *grin* - no, I'm switching gears at the moment. I've been listening to some old stuff and I just LOVE it. I even pulled out some old Michael Jackson on iTunes. It's really sad, in all honesty. The man had talent that most only dream of having - and yet his life was so screwed up ... but I can guarantee to you that people are still listening to his music today...shoot, I am. Satan will simply destroy anything he can get to, won't he? Or is it our decisions and the access we allow Satan? I don't know the logistics of it, but it's sad.

And it's 3:50 am in the morning, and I'm still freakin' awake. What's wrong with this picture? I AM going to get up and go walking in the morning. Really...I don't care how cold it is outside. I'm going to go walking.
