Wow, today is my last day at The Salvation Army - and I couldn't be happier. It's been a good two and a half years, but it's time to go. And I'm excited about the possibililties.
First, there's homebound teaching and student teaching - I'm not sure how much they'll give me, so I don't know if that will be steady income or not. But it pays well if so. Then there's a possibility of a job at JMU - I received a call back for an administrative assistant position there...probably way less in pay, but I've been told it would be good to get on there if I could. Plus I can take classes for free if I work there :). That would be pretty cool.
Then I put in my application for grad school at Lee University yesterday. That was a relief and an excitement all at the same time. Not sure what's going to come of that, but it's nice to think I'll be getting back into the music profession again.
So there are lots of options and lots of things up in the air. But the one thing I want to make sure of is that I'm not worrying too much...I need to pray more about my situation, but I know that in the end, the Lord is going to take care of me. He's moving me into a position in which he can work with me more. And I couldn't be happier.
Anyway, time for lunch...more later!
