Titan the Prancing Palm

I don't know what's wrong with him, but Titan is prancing around in the office and whining. So I let him outside - and MAN is it cold out there. He's a funny dawg...he goes doody outside...in the future (a direct reference to Brak for those who don't know) - anyway, Jess is gone this weekend to New Jersey and we're having a good time with "Poopy" as Steph likes to call him.

Anyway, just got back from the church leadership meeting, and the future looks even more cloudy than ever. We are definitely not closing the church, but we may have to find somewhere else to worship because we don't want to get stuck in a year lease. So I have to call our landlord tomorrow and see whether or not he'll let us rent at the same price month to month. I'm hoping so...need to pray that before I call. We also talked about opening a Russian restaurant *grin* where Spanky's used to be...it's a prime location, and with the revitalization of downtown, it would be perfect for what they're trying to do. And on top of that, it's a great witnessing tool. I don't know - I would love to do something like that. My first priority is service to God, not necessarily an ocupation.

There was a lot more discussed, but I don't want to say to much because it's up to other people to do that - I'm not putting there business out for everyone.

Anyway, I'm addicted to Sudoku - I don't know why they're so addictive, but I find myself wasting time all the time on these things. And then Nick and I are traveling to Cleveland Tennessee tomorrow and Tuesday to check out Lee University. I don't know what will come of that, but maybe I'll get more of a sense of what's going to happen? I don't know. I still need to get my recommendations to the teachers...I ought to just keep taking them to Barnes and Noble with me because I keep running in to Dr. Adams, my music history prof. He loves coffee and you can be sure he's going to be there as often as possible *grin*.

Okay, I should probably clean up the kitchen since I made a mess today cooking lunch. I am missing the super bowl, but after the good meeting we had for the church, I don't mind so much :). And I'm at the house hanging by myself for once, and I kind of like the solitude. Gives me an opportunity to work on some stuff. Oh, and my room is finally semi clean...I need to keep working on it and find some stuff to sell on ebay :D.
