I and my office are currently residing in the arctic tundra. Everywhere else in the building has heat and is fairly warm. This office, oddly enough, is cold enough to hang meat, as my Dad likes to say. Not sure what the issue is, but it's been like this all winter.
I'm currently working on Neighborhood Assistance Program paperwork - which can take forever because you have to make so many blame copies and send them everywhere.
Wow - I sound like I'm complaining a lot today, don't I? I'm sorry, Lord - my life is good. As a matter of fact, I had an amazing time last night - something that I was slightly afraid of and uncomfortable over ended up being one of the best evenings I've had in a while. I'm excited to see what all God is going to develop as things continue.
Tonight we have gospel choir practice to prepare for the two concerts this Saturday and Sunday that are going to be pretty big for us. I'm praying we'll be ready - we have enough people participating in practice to sound good, but when we get to the concert, there are many who can't end up being there. I don't feel comfortable agreeing to concerts when I can't count on singers - and when we have so little tenors in the first place? I'm a bit frustrated with it - we're good, but not every one can make the commitment that some of the others have...whether out of choice or really not being able to do something I don't know.
I need a better way to deal with stress. Honestly.
