Pep Talks

I have not watched Brak for a while. That is going to be a must at some point this week ;).

I just got back from the Yagolnikov's house, and I got a pep talk from Oleg and Paul. It's all stuff I need to hear, but at some point I have to put these things into action. In James it says:

James 1:5 But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and with no reproach, and it shall be given to him.
James 1:6 But let him ask in faith, doubting nothing. For he who doubts is like a wave of the sea, driven by the wind and tossed.
James 1:7 For do not let that man think that he shall receive anything from the Lord;
James 1:8 he is a double-minded man, not dependable in all his ways.
James 1:9 But let the humble brother rejoice in his exaltation;

Here is one of my many problems. I am a double-minded man (well, woman anyway *grin*). I doubt that God wants to bless me, or I doubt what I want, or I doubt the decision I should make because I'm afraid of making the wrong one.

God, I don't want to be double-minded anymore. I want to set priorities and I want to stick to them, and be more disciplined. Father, I don't want to live my life in a hole of debt. I have a ton of junk in this house that I could easily make a fortune on over eBay. Why haven't I done anything about it? Because I'm too busy doing other things that produce no fruit.

So how am I spending my time? Reading stupid books that only waste time ... give me a feel good buzz for a bit and then gets me thinking about things that God hasn't planned for me yet. So, what will I do?

Pray. Set priorities...actually WRITE them down.

Get more sleep...which I'm going to do right now. It's time for bed. So I'll continue this sometime tomorrow. Goodnight...and if you're reading this and you pray...do me a favor and say a quick prayer for me that I'll get my life in order...and be more decisive. I don't want to be double-minded anymore.

Thanks you guys :).

Until next post...
