Hello everyone! There's something about the anonimity of a blog that allows you to be a bit freer with your words. Of course, that can come back to bite you later, as I always try to be careful about what I post...
But today, I feel horrible - my insides feel like they're being twisted out and ripped from my body. I can't imagine what having children is going to feel like...because I know this is only a miniscule portion of that pain.
Anyway, all exams are done and I have one to go. I'm up here in the Department of Vocal Music Suite, and there's no one else up here with me, so I'm taking a moment to blog. Usually, I have a meeting with Dr. Green and Phillip about this time, but evidently Chorale had something in Chattanooga to perform at.
I decided against auditioning for Chorale this coming semester - with Concepts of Analysis coming up, and the previous students of that class talking about how they would leave crying after having prepared all week and then grilled in front of the class and still been wrong, I know I won't be able to take that kind of pressure without cracking. But I am adding voice lessons, something I haven't done for over 8 years now - I hope to get my voice back into shape somehow, but we'll just have to see.
Then for the rest of the day, I'm camping out in the School of Music and just studying for this test by the same teacher on Thursday.
But I do want to say, that even though I'm in pain and in a crappy mood, the Lord has helped me through so much these past two weeks. He's given me amazing ideas to finish these projects I had for these classes. Thanks, Lord, for taking care of me - you promise that you will, but sometimes I forget and worry anyway. So I just praise you for your faithfulness to me - I pray that I can return at least a fraction of that faithfulness to you.
Okay, I'm here to work - better get to it. Ta Ta for now.
